Women's Ministry Hike

CTK Women -- Let's take a hike and enjoy the early signs of spring! This 6-mile hike is around Walden Pond and up to the site of Thoreau's Cabin. Bring a lunch and water bottle. It is a 35-min drive to the park and a $5 parking fee. The hike usually takes 2 hours. Kids are welcome to join us. We leave the Church parking lot at 9:30AM and return around 12:30. If there is bad weather, our "Plan B" is to have games and snacks in the social hall. RSVP to Rebekah Dale (rebekah.c.anaya@gmail.com) to let her know if you need a ride or have extra space in your car.

Discovering CTK

New to CTK? Discovering CTK is a newcomers class for those interested in learning more about our church and denomination (PCA) and what it means to become a member. The next class will take place on Saturday, June 10th at 10:30a in the church social hall. Lunch will be provided. Registration is now open at ctkcambridge.org/discovering-ctk. Please register by Wednesday, June 7 so we can order the right amount of food.

Zoom Gathering for Parents of Nursery-aged Kids

The Children's Ministry Leadership is hosting a zoom gathering for families with nursery age children.  This is a time to share about our dreams for church life with our families and how the church can care and support nursery families in our ministries.  This event will be on June 11th from 8pm-9:15.  Look for a link in your email this week or email lara@ctkcambridge.org to join.

Marriage Class

Join us on Saturday, February 25th for a Marriage Class held at CTK. This class is open to all — whether you’re engaged and looking to get married at CTK, or already married and looking for a refresher, or you’re single and want to think more deeply about the meaning of marriage . Topics will include the meaning and purpose of marriage, the qualities necessary to have a healthy marriage, the true nature of love and how to effectively express it, communication and conflict resolution, role relationships, expectations and sexuality in marriage. Please register to attend by Wednesday, February 22nd. If you are actively planning to get married at CTK, there are opportunities for pre-marital counseling after taking this class. For more details about pre-marital counseling, visit ctkcambridge.org/weddings.

2023 Getaway

There is still some space open at the Winter Getaway, taking place January 27 thru January 29! We also have a “Day Only” option if you’re unable to stay overnight. Visit ctkcambridge.org/getaway for more information and to register. Please note, private rooms are now full, but there is some space in the bunkhouses. Scholarships are available — we don’t want cost to keep anyone from coming!

Christmas Eve & Day

Join us on Christmas Eve at 4pm for a family-friendly service of Lessons and Carols. Invite friends and neighbors as we read through the Christmas story, from Genesis through the Gospels and sing Christmas hymns that celebrate the coming of our Lord. Please note, there is no childcare available during this service, but the upstairs nursery and social hall will be open to children and their parents as needed.

Women's Tea

Whether you're 8 or 80, all girls and women of the CTK Community are cordially invited to the CTK Annual Women's Christmas Tea! It will take place immediately after church next week (Dec 4), so please RSVP to the Paperless Post Invitations. Don't forget to sign up for a food item you'd like to bring through the Perfect Potluck link. Instead of doing a white elephant gift exchange, we are having a book swap! Bring an unwrapped book you would like to give to someone else to read; it can be any genre (poetry, devotional, nature guide, or even a children's book). If you have any questions or would like to volunteer for set up, clean up, reading or music, please feel free to contact Martha Olson at 203-605-9898 or marthabwolson@gmail.com.
