Grace Prep Informational Meeting

Grace Preparatory Information Meeting:  Grace Prep takes the best attributes of homeschooling and combines them with the best attributes of traditional, Christian education to provide a private, non-denominational Christian, university-model school. Pre-school Teach Job Opportunity

Little Folks Fellowship Nursery School, Cambridge, is looking for a part-time pre-school teacher. The applicant must be a Christian and licensed by the state to teach this age group (2.9-5years of age). The school operates from 8:30-12:30 three mornings a week (M.W.F.) and there is also an extended day option for the three afternoons. The salary is commensurate with other local nursery schools. Temporary Nanny Position

Looking for a nanny to care for our 19-month old (adjusted) for 20-25 hours a week, either 2 full work-days (flexible on which days) or weekday half-days from 8am to 1pm. This job will likely be only for the month of January, so this could be ideal for a college or graduate student on college vacation. We live in Somerville, within walking distance of the Porter Sq T station.   Alternatively, if you live in Cambridge or Somerville and already have a nanny looking after your infant or toddler, we would be interested in joining your nanny share in January! Christ and the Creative Arts

MHSA Homeless in Boston

CTK Somerville member Alex Kontras works at MHSA, which conducts weekly housing workshops for some of the longest-term homeless in Boston.  They are in need of two kinds of help at one of their shelters in Dorchester:  1) $10 Dunkin’ Donuts cards, which are provided to workshop participants as incentives to complete housing paperwork, and 2) providing food for a hot breakfast prior to the workshop.  Online donations of gift cards can be made here (enter “gift card” in the “In memory or honor of” box); for information about providing breakfast or for any other questions, contact Alex.

BCPC 2017 Gala Fundraiser

Boston Center for Pregnancy Choices invites you to attend the 2017 Gala Fundraiser with guest speakers Bob and Pam Tebow, parents of Tim Tebow. Advent Play- Auditions and info...

CTK is excited to open auditions for a staged reading of the Dorothy Sayers' play Kings in Judaea. Directed by Ruthie Buescher from CTK-Somerville, the play will offer a chance to explore the incarnation and celebrate the Advent season through theater. Auditions will be on October 16, from 7-9pm. Rehearsals will be on Mondays from 7-9pm, October 23-November 27, and Saturday, December 2, with an evening performance on December 3.
