Hebrew Rehabilitation Center

The Hebrew Rehabilitation Center is looking for volunteers to provide additional one-on-one companionship and support to their long-term chronic-care patients. They ask for an hour a week, where volunteers can read, listen to music, or just converse with patients who are approaching the end of life. Training is provided at their location in Dedham, but volunteers can serve in Dedham or at their Boston location. Training will begin in March. You can learn more at their website or contact their Volunteer Coordinator at michelleperry@hsl.harvard.edu.

To learn more, you can see their flyer or contact Julie Croston from Cambridge School Volunteers, Inc.

Y2Y Shelter
