Roommate Needed

A woman moving to Boston from Seattle to begin a PhD program is seeking a Christian woman roommate in the West Somerville area beginning September 1. Rent is $1250/month, not including utilities. The 950 sq ft 2 bedroom unit is part of a 2-unit home, including a washer and dryer and shared backyard. The home is a 10-15 minute walk to Davis Square. Former BU RUF staff and member of CTK Cambridge, Chet Bickhart, is making his way back to Boston to work with the US National Team in rowing. Rent is $800/month, not including utilities, and the apartment is about a 10 minute walk from the Redline. They are looking for someone who loves practicing hospitality, having dinner parties and fun on the weekends, and wants to live in Christian community together. Temporary Housing Needed

Temporary housing needed: A woman at CTK needs immediate housing on a temporary basis. The deacons are looking for someone with a spare bedroom who can accommodate her for the next few weeks or months while she works with the diaconate to make a long-term plan. Softball Team

The CTK Cicadas' first softball game will be held on June 5th at 10am at the Roberto Clemente Field, located in Boston's Back Bay Fens. We have a final t-shirt design, made by CTK's Eric Robinson. Pentecostal Tabernacle

On Saturday, April 3, Pentecostal Tabernacle, a church located near CTK in Cambridge, is hosting a Pop Up Food Pantry in celebration of Easter, and people from other congregations are welcome to volunteer! There are slots on Friday evening and various times on Saturday morning. The preparation and distribution will all take place at the church's north campus on 77 Columbia St. Email the outreach coordinator, debbie.plummer@ptspice.org, with any questions.

Church Softball

Captain of the softball team? The Metro Boston Church Softball League is a group of churches in the Boston area that have gotten together every summer for the past 10-15 years to build community by playing softball together. They are currently planning out their 2021 season and would like to know if folks from Christ the King would be interested in joining this year. As a general overview, they are a co-ed league, and their season lasts around 10 weeks, starting in June, with playoffs starting in August. Our current members include City on a Hill , Mosaic, Highrock, CityLife, Antioch and Park Street.
