Congregational Meeting

The members of Christ the King Presbyterian Church are called to a Congregational Meeting on Sunday, November 22, 2020 from 7:00 to 8:00 PM, preceded by a prayer meeting that will start at 6:30p. This meeting will be held virtually.

Business to be conducted at the meeting:

  1. Elect a pastoral search committee* for the purpose of recommending a pastoral candidate for Cambridge

  2. Elect church officers – the slate of candidates to be elected will be shared upon approval by the Session

  3. Share information with the church

Instructions for how to participate in the virtual meeting will be forthcoming.

The members of Christ the King Presbyterian Church are called to two upcoming Congregational Meetings.

The first is on Sunday, October 18, 2020 at 7:00 PM and will be held virtually. Business to be conducted at the October meeting:
1. Consider the resignation of Rev. Rick Downs as Pastor of Christ the King Presbyterian Church
2. Approve a process for forming a pastoral search committee*
3. Hear more information and ask questions related to placing an interim pastor in Cambridge and the search for a permanent replacement

The second is on Sunday, November 15, 2020 at 7:00 PM and will be held virtually. Business to be conducted at the November meeting:
1. Elect a pastoral search committee* for the purpose of recommending a pastoral candidate for Cambridge
2. Elect church officers – the slate of candidates to be elected will be shared upon approval by the Session

Being Human Adult Ed

This Sunday is the last class in our current Adult Ed series: Being Human.  Nathan Barczi has been teaching on the biblical and theological understanding of what it means to be human, with application to many of the ethical questions covered in our summer “hot topics” series.  Recordings of past classes are available here.  Our next Adult Ed class will be on Selflessness and will be taught by Nathan Carter, beginning on April 22nd.

Making Room at Thanksgiving

Making Room at Thanksgiving: In an effort to ensure that no one at CTK is without a place to go this Thanksgiving, we are looking for people who have room at their tables. Also, if you are someone who is currently without a place to share the meal, we would be happy to connect you with someone who would love for you to join them. Administrator Position

CTK Cambridge AM is looking for a new Office Administrator! The purpose of the Church Administrator is to serve as the office and operations manager for the church with a focus on communications and administrative support for the staff and ministries of the church. It's a part time position; 25 hours per week. Must be available during normal business hours and flexible for work on evenings, weekends and holidays. If you or someone you know is interested, let us know!

Women's Bible Study

Ladies, please join us as the Women’s Bible Study kicks off the year with brunch on Thursday, September 14, 9:30-11:30am in the social hall. Bring a dish to share if you’d like. Join us as we eat, catch up, and pray for the upcoming year. Over the course of the year, we will be studying Colossians and Philemon. Childcare is provided.
