Summer RUF

The RUF staff at Harvard, BU, and MIT will be running a Summer RUF for all college students who are in the Boston area for the summer from June 2 through August 9.  They will meet on Tuesdays for a time of worship from 7-8pm, followed by a time to hang out.  This event is for college students only (grad students should see what bible studies are at their grad schools).  For more information, contact Serena Jones (serena.jones@ruf.org).

How to Study the Gospels

At the request of many who missed the workshop the first time, we’ll be repeating the How to Study the Gospels lecture/workshop taught by Catherine Cook and Nathan Barczi. It’s a class for anyone wishing to understand the four Gospels and their role in explaining God's plan for our redemption. All are invited! Leaders and Bible teachers at CTK are highly encouraged to come to benefit their own teaching ministries!  7:00-9:00 pm on Tuesday April 30th in the Fellowship Hall.  Snacks will be provided.  Please RSVP to Laura Martin.

Women's Conference

On Saturday, May 4 there is a Women As Forces For Gospel Advance Conference in Melrose, Massachusetts.  The conference is designed to help local churches inform, engage, and equip women to be holy and feminine forces for gospel advance.  The conference is sponsored by Kalos Conversations, Acts 29 Network, and Seven Miles Road Church.  This conference is designed for both men and women to attend.  Contact Laura Martin (lauraamartin87@gmail.com) if you are interested in registering with a CTK group.  You can also register individually.

Also, if you are able to offer a ride, either to or from the Getaway, please fill out this survey so that rides can be coordinated. Congregational Meeting

The members of Christ the King, Grace and Boston North Presbyterian Church are called to a Congregational Meeting on Sunday, January 6, 2019 at 12:00 noon at Christ the King Presbyterian Church, 99 Prospect Street, Cambridge, Massachusetts. Business to be conducted at the meeting includes a congregational vote that would enable the members of our Brazilian Congregation in Cambridge to become their own separate particular church and a congregational vote to give approval for Rev. Leandro Pinheiro to serve as pastoral supply for the new church while remaining a pastor of Christ the King Presbyterian Church.

A few notes for parents regarding the congregational meeting:
• Parents are responsible for supervising their children during the meeting.
• Children should not be in the basement after the service or during the meeting.
• The social hall will be available to families to use as needed during the meeting; there will be a speaker to hear what is being said in the sanctuary.  The deacons will let those in the social hall know when to come into the sanctuary to vote.

Clothing Swap - NEW DATE

Clothing Swap (2).png

The Annual Clothing Swap will be happening this Sunday, November 18th after the service (the Brazilian congregation has a conference that weekend and will not be having their service at their usual time). Have any questions about the swap? Check out the FAQ page. If you have any donations you would like to make to the swap, please drop them off in the bin outside the social hall over the next few Sundays. If you would like to help with the swap in any way, please contact Cat Sherrill.
