Christmas Banquet

The Christmas Banquet 2016, a Collaborative between CTK and Starlight Ministries for a special Christmas dinner for people who are experiencing homelessness is this Saturday, Dec 10th from 12-2:30pm.  This is an opportunity for us to work together to share with our neighbors without homes the joy of Christmas and the love of Jesus. Volunteer and contribution opportunities can be found here.

CTK Directory

We are putting together a directory of faces and names at CTK and we’d love to get a picture of you! Please come by the social hall after church THIS SUNDAY where Stephen Thrasher will be taking pictures. This will be the LAST week he will be there taking pictures, and we’d love to get as many as possible taken that day. Having pictures with names is very helpful for the staff and leadership  Once we get the directory put together, though, you will have the option to “opt out” of your information being shared with the congregation in the directory. If you have any questions, contact Sarah Goodman.

Safety Notice

Safety Notice: Our church is in an urban place, and we sometimes encounter some of the brokenness of the city. We’ve experienced theft, found needles on the property, and confronted other occasional unpleasant things. We especially want to remind those of you who are parents to be mindful of where your kids are and what they are getting into. Please let a deacon, elder or church staff member if you see anything that concerns you.

Justice Day Boston

With so many injustices happening in our world it is hard to know where to begin. The Bible clearly values justice on many different issues. But how do we move towards living more justly in our day to day? Join Justice Day Boston on October 21-22 at Park Street Church. The event will present materials from the national Justice Conference sponsored by World Relief and include local leaders engaged in the issues of our city. We hope you will discover new ways of thinking about Biblical justice, engage with your community and celebrate justice as we worship together. For more information contact Brenda Souto

ESL Classes

CTK offers beginner, intermediate, and advanced ESL classes on Monday evenings at 7:00pm throughout the school year. ESL is a cooperative ministry between our AM and PM congregations, and we are looking for volunteers to participate. If you have any interest (no experience necessary!) in helping out, or if you or someone you know have questions about attending, contact hannah@ctkcambridge.org for more information. To register for classes click here
