Women's Picnic at Prospect Hill Park

On Saturday, August 25th, the Women's Ministry is hosting a picnic Prospect Hill Park in Somerville.  Stop by anytime between 4-7pm. Women's ministry will supply drinks and paper products - bring a dish to share, a chair or blanket if you have them, and any lawn games you'd like to play. CTK Newton Nursery Staff

Nursery Staff/Caregiver Positions Available at Christ the King (Newton): There are several compensated staff/caregiver positions at CTK Newton for the nursery (0-3 year olds), Sundays from 3:45-5:45pm. Youth CG

Parents and youth (grades 6-12) please save the date for the first Youth Community Group of the year:  Saturday, September 15 from 5:30-7:30pm at the church in the social hall.  This will be a potluck dinner for both kids and parents to meet our new leader for this year, TI Atkins, CTK member and seminarian at Gordon Conwell.  If your family plans to attend, please RSVP and sign up to bring food.

Love Reigns Preschool

Love Reigns Children's Center in Arlington has a few 4-year old part-time Preschool openings in their mixed Preschool Classroom.  If you are interested or would like more information, please email the Directors, Alisha and Christina, at LoveReignsCC@gmail.com.  CTK member Elizabeth Cantrell is happy to recommend Love Reigns and can answer any specific questions. A few of the schedules they have available are 3-days (MWF) or 5-days (M-F) from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm or 8:00 am - 3:00 pm.  

Women's Ministry Kickoff Lunch

All women are invited to a Women’s Ministry Fall Kick-Off Lunch on Saturday 9/22 at 1 pm in the Fellowship Hall at CTK. Childcare will be provided. This will be a time of fellowship to meet other women in the church and hear about Bible Study groups for the fall, including the Thursday AM Women’s Bible Study as well as the “Sermon on the Mount” Bible Study groups. Theater Workshop

In partnership with ViraLarte Theater Group, CTK is hosting 3 workshops for children's ministry workers and our larger church community! The three topics are: Theater (free!) - 8/6, 8/9 and 8/10; Storytelling ($25 fee) on 8/14, 8/16 and 8/17; and Video Editing ($50 fee) - 8/14, 8/16, 8/17. Family Housing Needed

A family of five with three small children are looking for housing starting as soon as possible. They are moving to Boston to begin teaching at Sattler College, and are hoping to find an apartment that is de-leaded, approx. $2000/month, and has in-unit laundry capabilities. They are open to renting short term or living in a house with another family or couple. They are hoping to find something in the Malden or Medford area near transit. ACCESS After School Programs

ACCESS (American Chinese Christian Educational and Social Services, Inc.) provides after-school and summer programming for children of immigrant, low-income families in Boston's Chinatown. They are now recruiting teachers for our After School Enrichment Program.
