CTKS Auditions

CTKS is excited to announce auditions for its upcoming Advent play, "Midwinter." Directed by Ruthie Buescher and Sara O'Brien, the play recounts the birth story using scripture, sacred music, and physical theater. We are searching for actors/singers and musicians for a collaborative rehearsal process, as well as some other roles in stage management and set design. Auditions are on Oct. 13 from 1-3pm, and the show performs Dec. 15 and 16. Rehearsals will be in Somerville on Monday evenings and Saturday afternoons beginning Oct. 20. Artist Fellowship Architecture Walk

Join local architects Bruce Buescher and Jessica Walker and the CTKS Artist Fellowship for an architecture walking tour of Harvard and surrounding buildings on Saturday, September 22. We will meet at Tatte Bakery & Cafe in Harvard Square (1288 Massachusetts Ave.) at 10am. The tour will be stroller friendly, and all are welcome to come and go as needed! Babysitter Needed

CTK family in Watertown is looking for a babysitter for their 3 girls, ages 6, 4, and 1 on weekends, and/or someone who could help with an occasional week night when one parent travels. Their home is within a 5-min. walk of 2 bus lines, and about a 10-min. ride from Harvard Square. If you are interested or have recommendations, please contact Nicole O'Hern (816-820-3940).

Care Dimensions Volunteers

Care Dimensions is looking for volunteers to help support our hospice patients and families. Come be a part of something truly extraordinary and help us in our mission to make each day a gift for our patients and their families. Housing Needed

A twenty-three year-old male student from Chile is urgently looking for a place to stay from September 1st, 2018, preferably with a kind family in Boston who would be willing to open their home and their hearts to him. He has been here since May this year, studying on a full tuition scholarship at Berklee College of Music. His current living arrangements expire now at the end of August. CTK Lending Library

The CTK Lending Library is officially open. If you would like to borrow a book from our collection in the social hall, please follow the instructions posted in that area. There is also an area for donating books — we’re accepting books that fall into the categories of Theology, Church History, Bible Study and Christian Living. All donations will need to be approved by staff and adoption into the collection is not guaranteed.  If you have any questions, please email Laura for more information.

Women's Picnic at Prospect Hill Park

On Saturday, August 25th, the Women's Ministry is hosting a picnic Prospect Hill Park in Somerville.  Stop by anytime between 4-7pm. Women's ministry will supply drinks and paper products - bring a dish to share, a chair or blanket if you have them, and any lawn games you'd like to play.
