This week is our final entry for Volunteer Appreciation Month. Each week in May we have been highlighting groups of volunteers at CTK.
Last but certainly not least, we wanted to end the month celebrating a visible, faithful, and generous group of people: our musicians. What an incredible gift it is each Sunday to raise up our voices and sing truths from scripture together. It is a privilege to be engrossed in beautiful arrangements as we meditate during a prelude or the Lord's Supper. Thanks also to musicians who serve us during the offertory. We are grateful to this team for being willing to be up front and in the spotlight. It takes a certain amount of courage, endurance, and skill to lead from a stage and flexibility to play with a different team each week. Thank you for the hospitality you create that gives the congregation space in the service to bring praises, gratitude, longing, and cries before God.
