Volunteer Opportunity

Cambridge School Volunteers

Do you have 1 hour a week to give to help a middle school student? Cambridge School Volunteers needs YOU! Join our team of tutors working with 6th, 7th and 8th graders on homework help and academic support in our Learning Centers. Learning Centers meet after school (3pm - 4:15 pm), on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday for one-to-one tutoring at least once a week in all of the Cambridge public upper schools. Volunteers choose one day to help. All locations are easily accessible via public transportation. Cambridge School Volunteers (CSV) provides orientation and training. CSV staff are present to support the student and tutor pairs in their weekly sessions. To take the first step towards making a difference, email Kasey Appleman. Learn more at www.csvinc.org.

Snow Removal Volunteers

The CTK Snow Team is an elite crew of volunteers who receive emails about opportunities to serve our city by shoveling or snowblowing the sidewalks in front of the church (while also drinking hot chocolate). No prior experience required -- just a willingness to receive emails and help out as your schedule permits. If this sounds exciting to you, and you think you should be receiving these emails, please contact Sarah. We would love to have you join us.
