Every fall CTK likes to invite all of you to join in a day of apple picking at Apple Crest Farm Orchard in Hampton Falls, New Hampshire (1 hr north of Cambridge). This year we are looking for someone to be a point person for the event. If you are interested in helping out, please contact the church office.
CTK Reading Group
The CTK Reading Group at The Field Pub is marking the 500th anniversary of the Reformation by reading some of Martin Luther’s shorter pieces, collected in Martin Luther: Selections from his Writings, edited by John Dillenberger. If you are interested in joining the discussion, contact Nathan or just show up! The group meets at 4:30pm on Thursdays.
Sunday School Teachers needed
Enjoy building relationships with kids? Consider teaching Sunday School during the upcoming school year. Classes run from 8:45–9:45am for all ages. Curriculum materials are provided so no experience needed, simply a willingness to teach! Contact Dana for more information.
Free food
The church has frozen burgers, hot dogs, and chicken breasts left over from the Fourth of July BBQ- and we want to give it all away! If you'd like to take home some free meat, email the church office.
Request for photos
CTK is looking to update our website with more photos, and we need your help! If you have pictures from church services, events, and community group gatherings that we could post, please add them to the CTK office dropbox.
Catharine Downs
Our current Office Administrator, Cara Pardo, is now on maternity leave. Please welcome Catharine Downs to the CTK Cambridge staff!
Songs for Worship webpage
Check out the new Songs for Worship page on our website, which includes recordings of the upcoming Sunday's congregational hymns, created by CTK musicians! These recordings can help prepare our congregation for worship on Sunday mornings, and may be of particular benefit to families whose children will be in the entire service while Children's Worship classes are on hiatus this summer.
Children's Worship
The Children’s Worship classes will not meet over the summer and children will remain in the service to participate in all aspects of the service. Kids are encouraged to use the Sermon Worksheets available in the foyer.

Kickball!
Kickball, that staple of American high school gym classes, is back and better than ever. Members and friends of CTK are considering forming teams to participate in Social Boston Sport's Summer Kickball League at various locations around the city. Team-building is happening at the community group level, so if interested, ask your CG leader for details. Please email Albert Cheng for more details.
