Steve Pardo Show

Come out this Sunday, February 4, at 3:30 p.m. for a relaxed and free show with the Steve Pardo Trio (featuring CTK member Steve Pardo on saxophone). Formed in 2016, the group features inventive, subtle, and dynamic melodies and improvisation. They will be playing songs from their first album, HOPE, as well as debuting new music. The event will take place at Third Life Studio (33 Union Square, Somerville). This is an all-ages show, so kids are welcome!

Adult Ed Class - The Whole Christ

This is the final week of the Adult Ed class, The Whole Christ - Law, Gospel, and the Marrow Controversy:  What does an 18th-century debate in Scotland have to do with us?  In the Whole Christ, Sinclair Ferguson revisits the Marrow Controversy to illuminate the relationship of law and gospel.  Running through January 28, this class will follow Ferguson as he explores how Christ not only sets us free from the law, but enables us truly to delight in the law.  Come join the discussion!

Being Human Adult Ed

This Sunday is the last class in our current Adult Ed series: Being Human.  Nathan Barczi has been teaching on the biblical and theological understanding of what it means to be human, with application to many of the ethical questions covered in our summer “hot topics” series.  Recordings of past classes are available here.  Our next Adult Ed class will be on Selflessness and will be taught by Nathan Carter, beginning on April 22nd.

Ministry to former Christian Scientists

Kathrine Beim-Esche is director of a ministry that is engages former Christian Scientists with the gospel, the Fellowship of Former Christian Scientists. She will be in town this month and has offered us the opportunity to sit in on a Christian Science service with her. Men's Breakfast

A Men’s Breakfast will be held in the social hall on Saturday, February 10, from 8-10am. Come expecting to be challenged, ready to pray and fellowship with other men in our church.
