Looking for Work

Tess Stogner is a soon-to-be UNC grad looking for work in the Boston area. The majority of her coursework has been writing-intensive, so she’s interested in anything related to PR, communications, networking, publicity and publishing. She has experience working in the outdoor industry, in retail and in education, and is involved with two non-profit organizations on campus. If you know of any opportunities, please contact Tess.

Kids' Bulletins

Parents:  As we strive to be more intentional helping kids transition from Children’s Worship classes to being in the entire service, on May 12 the sermon worksheet will receive a makeover tailored to 3rd - 5th Graders. The new worksheet will be available up front at the passing of the peace.  Note, extra copies or borrow bags will not be in the foyer at the start of the service (though once Children’s Worship ends mid-June alternate materials will be available for those kids to use during the preaching in the summer months).

How to Study the Gospels

At the request of many who missed the workshop the first time, we’ll be repeating the How to Study the Gospels lecture/workshop taught by Catherine Cook and Nathan Barczi. It’s a class for anyone wishing to understand the four Gospels and their role in explaining God's plan for our redemption. All are invited! Leaders and Bible teachers at CTK are highly encouraged to come to benefit their own teaching ministries!  7:00-9:00 pm on Tuesday April 30th in the Fellowship Hall.  Snacks will be provided.  Please RSVP to Laura Martin.

Women's Conference

On Saturday, May 4 there is a Women As Forces For Gospel Advance Conference in Melrose, Massachusetts.  The conference is designed to help local churches inform, engage, and equip women to be holy and feminine forces for gospel advance.  The conference is sponsored by Kalos Conversations, Acts 29 Network, and Seven Miles Road Church.  This conference is designed for both men and women to attend.  Contact Laura Martin (lauraamartin87@gmail.com) if you are interested in registering with a CTK group.  You can also register individually.

Women Together

All women are invited to join for an upcoming Women Together event on Tuesday, May 14th. Listen to a panel of women in the church reflect on the topic of "making life decisions," and join us for a time of discussion and prayer, over dessert. The event will be held at 7:30pm at Annelise Blomberg's home in Somerville. College students welcome. For directions and to RSVP, please reach out to Emily Stuntz.

Grace Prep is still accepting new students for and hiring an upper grade teacher for 2019-2020. Please contact Jenna Wertheimer at graceprepboston@gmail.com with any questions or for more information.
