End of Year Youth Potluck
On Sunday, May 7th, there will be an End of Year Youth Potluck Party, and all of the 6th graders to 12th graders to are invited to come! The party will be from 4p-6p at the Huang Residence. Spring Work Day
Save the date for a spring work day at the church building, Saturday May 13th from 9am-2pm! Depression, Anxiety, and the Christian Life
Depression and anxiety are common struggles. How do we think about these things correctly and respond with the hope of Christ? The Boston Center for Biblical Counseling is offering a one-day conference on Saturday, June 3rd to explore Depression, Anxiety, and the Christian Life. Registration is $15 and includes lunch and free books.

Joseph Bartels
We’re pleased to announce that Joseph Bartels, a seminary student at Gordon Conwell, is coming on board part-time to aid with leading and planning worship services through the end of the semester while Amanda is still on administrative leave. Joseph and his wife Katie attended CTK last fall and served on the worship team a few times. Joseph was also the music director at his former church. We are very grateful for his willingness to serve in this season.
Building Update
Installation of new metal sanctuary roof trusses by YSC is beginning the week of March 27th and is expected to take roughly two months. This will not affect Sunday morning worship, but will affect parking during the week at the building.
Easter Resources
This Sunday, two Easter family resources will be available in the Social Hall. The first is Mission Accomplished, a two-week Easter devotional book which begins on Palm Sunday. Sets of “Resurrection Eggs” are also available which offer a hands-on way to share the story of Easter with children. If you already have a set for your family, you might grab an extra one to share evangelistically with friends or neighbors.
Good Friday Tenebrae
For Holy Week this year, we will be participating in a tenebrae service with other Cambridge-area churches. The service will be held at Central Square Church (5 Magazine St., Cambridge), on Good Friday, April 7th at 7:30p. More details at ctkcambridge.org/good-friday.
Sunrise Service
We will be having a sunrise service on Easter Sunday at 6:30a, followed by a simple breakfast in the social hall (bagels, yogurt, fruit, etc). If you’re interested in helping set up for the breakfast, please email laura@ctkcambridge.org.
Men's Breakfast
The next Men’s Breakfast is on Saturday, April 15th at 8:30a in the CTK Social Hall. We'll be discussing proverbs about "the sluggard" and "the diligent", so don't miss this rare chance to say the word "sluggard" like it's normal. Christmas Eve
Please note, this Sunday’s service will be at 4p. There will be no 10:30a service this coming Sunday. A few other changes for this Sunday’s service:
There will be Children’s Worship, but the children will stay in their classes during the sermon as well as communion, and then join us in the sanctuary for the final reading and last two songs.
There will not be snacks following the service.
Nursery will NOT be open for drop-off care (for children 3 years and under). The nursery rooms will be open for diaper changing, nursing mothers or families in need of a quiet space and the livestream of the service and a selection of toys will be available in the Social Hall.
The final two songs of the service involve lighting candles. Parents, please use discretion when allowing children to hold their own candles.
Women's Ministry Hike
CTK Women -- Let's take a hike and enjoy the early signs of spring! This 6-mile hike is around Walden Pond and up to the site of Thoreau's Cabin. Bring a lunch and water bottle. It is a 35-min drive to the park and a $5 parking fee. The hike usually takes 2 hours. Kids are welcome to join us. We leave the Church parking lot at 9:30AM and return around 12:30. If there is bad weather, our "Plan B" is to have games and snacks in the social hall.
