Invitation to Prayer and Fasting
The Pastoral Search Committee earnestly encourages all of us to join in a week of prayer and fasting (as you are able) during the week ofJanuary 23-29. The purpose, as it says in Proverbs 16:3, is to “Commit our work to the Lord, that our plans may be established” for His good purpose.
As a church family let’s unite in focused petition for God’s clear guidance regarding the call to Travis Drake as our next senior pastor. Consider fasting from a meal, or desserts, or from social media, for example. Replace that time with prayer alone, or with a friend, as a family or as a Community Group. We’ll also have a church-wide day of prayer and fasting on Tuesday, January 25th, with meetings on Zoom in the morning, midday, or evening.
